Getamesay Teferi and Meskerem, his wife, live in Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia, along with their little boy Ebenezer. The Teferi home is a one bedroom flat, with a living room and small kitchen. Getamesay is from the Abysinia people group and speaks both his native language, Amharic and English. The Teferi family attends the Central Church of the Nazarene.

Meskerem is employed as a professional masseuse in addition to being a wife and mother. She has a real burden for working with the many orphans in Ethiopia. Meskerem is also a very gifted tailor and makes many of the family’s clothing. Ebenezer, their only child is currently seven months old. Other than eating, sleeping and playing, Ebenezer has not yet developed his interests and talents.
